The Move 2013 (Part 2)

Okay y’all, here’s the second part of the story of our big move.

(Here’s our new house in Michigan.)

So, picking up where we left off, we left Lott the next morning (Sunday) and drove. And drove. And drove some more. All that day and most of the next day. It gets very tiring and boring. We saw crazy things, like the guy in a convertible wearing a funky hat, and a police car on fire. At one time I happened to have all the phones that were in the van, which I think is kinda cool. We got to eat fast food, homemade whoopie pies, frappes, and other yummy junk food. šŸ™‚ Then Alex got one of those funky hats too, so he was wearing it, and then I stole it from him. Watching movies helped pass the time, as did listening to music and driving. Only I wasn’t allowed to drive. Not yet. šŸ™‚ **Random little pictures from our trip**

Then we got to Michigan. FINALLY!!!Ā  We started unloading the truck the next day, and then started the unpacking and the decorating and the organizing. With friends of course.

Oh wait, I did get to drive! Nooo, just kidding. Sorry for that heart attack I just gave you. But it was fun sitting in the big driver’s seat of the moving truck. šŸ™‚ It was so fun to be able to see and hang out with our cousins and friends, too.

There will be awesome times and there will be bad times here, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for our family in the future. He has showed us that, through all of this, He will be there for us. And through all of your troubles and good times, He will be there with you too.

Have a wonderful day, friends! šŸ™‚
